First day at H&M ( 3 months internship)

I arrived in Stockholm on Friday 2nd June, which gave me a couple of days to get to know the city before starting. Its like a home away from home out here. Everyone is so nice and friendly, it makes the whole experience a lot easier.

There was 30 of us who started internships today. They came from all over the world, such as Australia, America, Finland and UK. It was nice to meet new people who enjoy designing and who are in the same position as myself.

I met Florentin (my mentor) in the morning, for a tour of the H&M Head Office (where ill be working). He showed me the White Room. This is an area where you can draw, paint, find fabric samples etc. I then met the most friendliest and happy team in my department. BIG ACCESSORIES :) !!

It was a very long day, after filling in online health and safety questionnaires to trying not to get lost... I thoroughly enjoyed my first day as an intern, and excited to what else awaits.
