I am a Surface Pattern Designer based in Swansea, South Wales, where I am currently in my third year at UWTSD (Swansea).

 

Having studied Textiles A/AS Level and Art and Design Foundation at Gower College Swansea, I found my love of creating designs for different surfaces right in the heart of where I am from. Throughout my studies I have incorporated Welsh culture and Swansea elements into designs, where I have had great outcomes. 

 

My inspiration is taken from patterns, paintings and detailed work. Although my interest lays withing Fashion,  I also incorporate repeat patterns and designs for Interior aspects. Having being confident in both photoshop and illustrator, I am a quick learner within the design process.

 

I am easily inspired, whether that be from botanical elements, landscapes, cultural art from around the world or places I may have visited. I can create a vast amount of patterns and repeats from drawings I have collected.
