Live Brief with H&M

A/W 17 - CULTURE MIX

At the beginning of second year, I had been given a live brief from H&M. The outcome was to design 6 patterns as part of the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection. I had chose 'Culture Mix' out of the 6 themes, which was inspired by florals, romantic birds and motifs. The six designs were set into 3 groups of 2, labelled 'Simple Prints', 'Conversational Prints' and 'Placement Prints'. From a visit and skype call with the designers at H&M, I was fortunate that my collection of designs has been selected and I had won a 3 month internship in Stockholm, working as a Print Design Assistant.
